I ordered one set of smoothaway, then changed my mind and called right back less than 10 minutes later to cancel. This time I spoke to a live representative and was assured that my order was canceled. When I asked for reassurance that my credit card would not be charged, I was given the customer service number to call to confirm my cancellation and that my card would not be charged. When I immediately called this number, I got a recording telling me that due to high sales volumes I should call back later in the week. nI then proceeded to call this same number 5-6 times each day and got the same recording each time. I continued these calls for 2 weeks, always with the same results. I never have gotten to speak to anyone at this number. nWhen I called the original order number and am prompted to ask for customer service (by a recording) I am simply given the customer number again. I also checked the internet for SmoothAway. On this website, when I click on ‘Customer Service’ I am shone the same phone number I had already called. nI then received an e-mail informing me that my order had been shipped and my card had been charged over $55. I then intensified my efforts to reach a representative at the given number, with the same results…none! nOne week ago the package arrived by US mail and I refused delivery so that I would not be responsible for return postage.
