Complaint: In March my Husband traveled to Gulfport MS to pick up a semi truck. We were told it would be ready in two days, but first they needed the down payment wired. This was after paying the initial fee of $500.00. Well it was two weeks later and mostly on our dime, they paid for a couple of nights, after threatening to walk out and we wanted a refund. The salesperson called me at home to let mw know how happy we would be by waiting. Needless to say everything out of their mouths are lies, we were told engine was rebuild.. Not so it started leaking anti-freeze shortly after driving off of the lot. Hundreds of dollars in coolant to limp it to a Volvo dealer. Had to take the time off to get this fixed 1400.00 later. And what a surprise there computer system was down so they could not pay the dealer their portion! This time period was during their supposed warranty… what a load of B.S. We were supposed to get relief of the payment, but of course with in a week they were on the phone stating end of month need to get payment caught up.. caught up you never paid all of your portion for the repairs, compliant fall on deaf ears, pay or be reposed. Several minor issues causing money down the drain, until the next big issue at the end of May, turbo went out. No way to get back to MS to have repaired. After several back and forth talks between ATG and our leasing agent they decided to give us two weeks of relief from the payment. Once again a lie as of today being threatened again if wed don’t pay up. They decided they had already helped us enough, yeah helped themselves to our money. We paid over 6600.00 do get into this mess and have dumped almost every dime we are making to keep this piece of junk on the road. As a lot of you already know, we are between a rock and a hard place with this disreputable company. I am filing a compliant with the Mississippi Attorney General, would love to see all that have been harmed by them to file also. My husband was in such a rush to get back to running, that he signed without making a clear decision, it was at the end of the day. And that is when he finally learned that the payment was over $700.00 a week. If they had divulged that up front, like a legitimate business we would never had gotten into a contract with them. But they tell you lies up front, to get you to Mississippi and then string you along until you are starting to panic to get back on the road. Do yourselves a favor and stay away.
