Complaint: I recently purchased a car from Crain Chevy in liitle rock. The deal went great, and they got me into the car I wanted, however, my father wrote them a check for the down payment that they were suppose to hold till the following week when my check came in. Instead of holding like they said they would, the check was processed that day and my father woke up with his account about 300 bucks in the hole. I called the dealership and told them about the problem and they assured me it would be fixed. After talking to the salesmen (Mike Harris) back and forth for two days, I was told to come by the dealership and pick up a check for my dad and that they would also cover the cost of the overdraft fees. Sounds great right? Well, I took off work and went over there to find out that they didnt even have a check cut, all the while my dads trying to get back and forth to work with no money. I called the finance manager (Mike) two times after that visit because he said he was going to work something out but he never answered his phone or return my phone calls. My father called the lady (Julie Finnly) at the copprate office who told us to come pick up the check twice and she never returned his call either. I even called the general manager and left a message on his machine describing my lack of satisfaction for how my father was being treated and he didnt even bother to give me a call back. Bottom line is, these people lied to us several times. they had their moneyand the deal was done so they could care less about any of our problem. My dad did us a huge favor helping make this deal happen and they repaid him by screwing him over.
