Complaint: I took my pick up truck in for it to be worked on and was called by the owner Lee Widell and he states that my Intake Manifold Gasket was leaking and needed to be replaced. Said it would cost me about $350.00 to have this done and it would take a good afternoon to do cuz he had to take everything above the heads off the motor and clean then repair with new gasket. My truck was in his shop 6 days total. When I got it back the bill was $589.84 nothing near the estimate I was given of $350.00. I took truck home called him back the next day said this is not fixed at all and actually seems worse he said to come by there and he would drive the truck with me so I could point out my concern. I done just that and he stated it was my shudder on my transmission torque convertor and he poured some fluid into my transmission. The truck still didn’t run properly. I took it to another shop told them what already had been done the advised me that the Intake Manifold had never been taken off my vehicle and that the gasket was not new. I had them change spark plugs and wires and it still didn’t help so I took truck to the Ford Dealership. With in 10 minutes they called me telling me the problem and the cost of the repairs. Which was Needs new coil on cylinder 1 and it would be $345. Pls tax. I told them to go ahead and repair it and the did. Now what Crossroads done to my truck over 6 days I have no idea but I know they charged me almost $600 for it and never fixed the problem. I called Lee to tell him what Ford said it was and his response was when you get the truck back call me and let me know how it runs. Well it runs great but I wasn’t calling him back except to be refunded my money that he cost me for doing nothing to my truck. I feel I’m entitled to getting my money refunded back to me I’ve paid him.
