Complaint: i live in a small town.rented a car at our airport.here in our area there are no tollways.i travelled to houston.its been ages that i drove there.my hotel was near a tollway.returned the car ,as scheduled.that was in jan 2013.then,i checked ny credit card late last week.i was in disbelief that there was another charge from dollar rent a car,dated the 7th of feb.then,on feb 23 ,i received a bill from this fraudelent company that i incurred two incidents of not paying the tollway.amount was 50 cent,admin fee was $ 15.they charged me 31 total.I was livid! attempted to dispute charge,but they were not open sat.so,today i called up and spoke to an arrogant agent.when i tried to speak w/ her supervisor,she told me that he cannot do anything about the charge and was placed on hold for a long time.i called back anew and was placed on hold for a long time.so i hung up.i told the first one that nobody in their branch mentioned the tollway fee.i believe there is no tollway where i live.she told me that she was not present during the transaction ,so she wouldnt believe me. i informed here that there was no booth to pay toll and was told that it is all electronic.on the bill ,it say thy can charge up to 5 occurence per rental.this is just a rip off.i just hope a class action suit will be filed and will join it in a heartbeat!
