Complaint: After having my car in twice for the same issue and it being returned to me unfixed but with a sizable bill, I contacted Falls Chev in order to discuss. My multiple emails were ignored. I called and spoke with Angelo Ventresca, the service manager. I explained the problem, wanting to know what the next step was, what could be done, and if the vehicle could be fixed. I have never been treated so poorly by someone – he was yelling at me, called me names, told me he wasn’t going to deal with me, said I was just looking for a handout (????), and he kept yelling at me that I should ask a question if I had one. I had already asked many but he would keep getting angry and wouldn’t answer them. He kept avoiding the issue. Then he wouldn’t even let me speak – he would again tell me to ask a question if I had one, and when I would try to ask he would raise his voice even louder and continue speaking/yelling so that my voice couldn’t compete. I was shocked. By the end of the conversation, he had me in tears. All I wanted was my car fixed. I asked if it could be fixed, that this was an issue that was well-known for this vehicle and year (it’s all over the internet – ppl were angry that GM didn’t recall it b/c the issues were so wide-spread). He refused to give me an answer and eventually hung up on me. I couldn’t believe the juvenile behaviour, the complete and utter disrespect for a customer who had spent money there…. I’m still shocked at the way I was treated. Angelo Ventresca is a man who should clearly not be dealing with the public b/c he is obviously an unstable individual. I’m not sure if this is a pattern for him, or if it has something to do with me being a woman, or if it’s as simple as him having been given too much power at the dealership and it has gone to his head. Whatever the case may be, what I was put through was extremely inappropriate and uncalled for. I will never again go back to this dealership. For that matter, I will never again purchase anything GM b/c they do not care that they have the worst people representing their brand (look at the rest of the reviews online about Falls Chev – Google reviews, etc – it’s not just one case) and they do not stand behind their product. Their mechanics are obviously not being trained properly, the horrible customer service isn’t being reprimanded, and for me that is good enough to show that they just don’t care about the people they call customers. Run away from this place and especially consider having your vehicle serviced somewhere else. I will never return and I will be sure to let everyone I speak to know about the experience I was given at Falls Chev by Angelo Ventresca.
