Complaint: On October 4th I went in to purchase an auto. I was not going to purchase it due to the interest rate that was being offered and the monthly cost. The store manager called me, due to the fact the saleperson that I had been working with was out of town, and talked to me. He finally got me to drive the 2 hours promising me that the vehicles monthly payment would be $371 a month. This was down from the $373 that the salesperson told me and I was not going to purchase. I know $2 a month is not much but it was the principle of the whole thing. We got there and when the paperwork was printed the cost was back up to the $373 that I was not interested in. I feel he knew I was there, and drove 2 hours, that I would say ok. Well I did and when I questioned him on it he stated that the $371 was if I wasn’t going to have the first payment in 45 days. You all know this is bull because the amount payed is the same for the loan no matter when the first payment is. The 45 days was part of the advertisement I received and on the web page. Living up to the bad reputation that car dealers have in the eyes of the majority of consumers. The second issue was they only had one key to give me. They stated that they do not send both keys when they transfer autos between dealerships. Yes, it sounds like another lie, but I excepted this and they stated they would mail it to me within a week. Well it has been a week and no key. I text the salesperson and she either tells me she contacted them or, as most recent, does not reply. I have a hard time believing there is not another key. Especially being that the original sticker, from the car being sold new, was in with the paperwork. You ask yourself what kind of person will save the original sticker and not have both keys. This is another issue of a consumer being taken advantage. Please think twice before you deal with this group of people they are snakes and know nothing about customer service.
