Complaint: On August 13th I test drove a 200 vw jetta from these people. I informed them that we were interested in the car but it needed a wheel bearing on the rear right side. I was told it would be fixed by the time we were to take it off the lot Monday the 15th. I picked up my car and had to bring it back on the 16th to have another wheel bearing put on it. (Keep in mind this car was inspected on the 3rd of august)I had to contact the dealer again that same week because all four shocks and struts were bad and my brake light came on. Which they said they’d fix but never did. I took my car to another shop and had it inspected and found out that it needed struts, shocks, a new clutch, inner and outer tie rods ends, a right front axle, a timing belt/chain, bushings, front brakes, and some other minor parts. When I took this list back to Sir Michaels he said he was not aware of these issues (not sure how not if the car was really inspected) and he would only fix the shocks and struts. He again did nothing. I ended up sinking over $2000.00 into this car and still have stuff to fix. It now needs a new converter, exhaust, and other parts and may need a new engine as it is leaking oil very badly. In December we fell a little behind on the payments and calles them in January to see how much we needed to pay to catch up the payments completely. We paid over $1000.00 in payments and late fees to cathc the payments up. We also asked if we could switch from paying $75.00 a week to $300.00 a month and were told that was ok. Here it is April and we should only have paid $600.00 for Feb. and March, however, they have charged us a late fee and a non-payment fee every week since then causeing use to accumulate over $500.00 in additional fees we didn’t know we had to pay and one day after paying $400.00 to them which is more than one months payment they repossessed my car. Now I have to pay all of those late fees which we should have never gotten plus a towing fee to get my car back. This has been one big nightmare and I can’t wait to pay them off and be done with it. I wish there was a lawyer that would take my case so I can get some of my money back for the parts I put in that they should have fixed.
