I got a phone call from Universal Adventures back on July 9th telling me that I won a trip to Orlando Florida. The women on the phone was talking so fast and mumbled words like refundable which didn’t catch my attention till after i gave her my credit card info. nFirst she said that she needed my CreditCard Information for verification, then she explained to me that this Package is worth over 2000$ and that i would have to pay only 185$ just for verification purposes. nShe constantly asked me for my CreditCard Information just for verification so she can send me my free Vacation Package (that i won) via e-mail but I wanted more Information so I continuously asked for the Website so i can see if this Company existed and its true what she claimed i won. nSo i gave her my CreditCard Information and she said i had to pay 489$ for the Voucher. Then i told her that I want to cancel the transaction because why should I have to pay 489$ for a trip that i “won””? But then she said that this transaction is nonrefundable and was already charged to my CreditCard.nSo then I asked them that i wanted to hear the recording because she didn’t mention that it was non-refundable. So I was on the phone for a long time with these ppl that totally ripped me of.nSo I sent an e-mail to my CreditCard Company right away saying that it was a Scam/fraud but i got no answer. nTurns out i didn’t win anything i had to pay for the whole package which is totally misleading.nI paid 500$ for a “”free vacation”” which doesn’t even include a plane ticket???? nHopefully this report can help ppl so they dont get scamed by Universal Adventures. nBiancanToronto
